ESG Code of Fordata Sp. z o.o.

Introduction

This Code sets out FORDATA’s commitments in the areas of environment (E), care for employees and society (S) and regulatory compliance (G), which underpin our operations and business strategy. We strive to be a responsible and transparent business partner that not only provides safe technology solutions, but also works towards sustainability and makes a positive difference in the community.

Since 2009, we have been the leading Virtual Data Room system provider in Europe, the leader in Poland. We support clients in M&A transactions, due diligence and audits using a secure and fast VDR system. We conduct business according to the highest ethical and security standards. We know our clients by name. We act quickly.

01. Environment

As an IT company, we are aware of the impact of technology on the environment. We consider influence of our decisions on climate change. Furthermore, we take into account the expectations of our stakeholders regarding climate protection measures. On a day-to-day basis at FORDATA:

  • We offer a cloud solution to reduce hardware needs and CO₂ emissions for our customers.
  • Internally, we use cloud technologies, which leads to reduction in use of physical resources through digital collaboration.
  • We make efforts to reduce atmospheric emissions as well as energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.
  • We make rational use of electricity and heat.
  • We ensure that electronic equipment is disposed of and recycled appropriately and educate our employees on responsible waste management in the office area.
  • We take measures to reduce water consumption.
  • We promote and support the environmental behaviour of our employees and contractors.
  • We support and encourage our employees to use environmentally friendly means of transport, such as public transport, bicycles and electric vehicles. In addition, by enabling remote working we contribute to reducing the CO₂ associated with daily commuting, which has a positive impact on the environment.

 

02. Social

  • We monitor changes in the legal environment. We respect intellectual property rights and data protection laws, in accordance with applicable legislation.
  • We comply with the principles of fair competition. We are committed to transparency in our operations, reliability and credibility in our communications with clients.
  • We protect confidential information obtained in the course of cooperation. We apply safeguards in accordance with the ISO 27001 standard.
  • At FORDATA, we are guided by a code of ethics. We have adopted regulations on conflict of interest management, including anti-corruption standards.
  • At FORDATA, we regularly train employees, carry out internal audits and conduct audits of our subcontractors.
  • When selecting subcontractors, we take their ESG strategy into account.
