There is a growing awareness of information security

The new EU regulations (RODO), which, as of May 2018, tighten data protection regulations and introduce a strict system of penalties for data breaches, have mobilised many Polish entities to raise the profile of information security in organisations. This is also reflected in the transaction industry, where the topic of security has not always been placed at the top of the agenda. The last quarter has shown that this situation is changing, and the Virtual Data Room, which guarantees appropriate information security standards in transactions, is becoming an indispensable element of them.Publicly available data shows that in Q4 2017, as many as 45 per cent of transactions were organised using the Virtual Data Room system, the highest result ever recorded by us.
